In-Person Private Training

Private lessons are a great way to give a dancer the personalized guidance they need in order to excel in their training! A private setting offers the unique advantage of undivided attention from your instructor, enabling them to quickly identify strengths, challenges, and opportunities for growth. Through individualized guidance and constructive feedback, a dancer can achieve accelerated progress, build confidence, and reach their full potential in a supportive and focused environment.

In a 60min private lesson, AJ will guide a dancer through a customized lesson plan focusing on their specific needs, such as Contemporary fundamentals and technique, improving choreography retention, developing stylistic expression, or workshopping floorwork and power skills. AJ encourages dancers to welcome challenge, lean into the unfamiliar, and commit to achieving their personal best in every session. These lessons can also be utilized to set contemporary choreography for auditions or competitions. AJ highly recommends meeting 2-4 times per month for consistency and application.

Pricing for in-person lessons typically starts at $100 for NJ clients, but varies on location and rental fees. For outside of NJ, contact AJ directly.

Guest Choreography and Master Classes

Master Classes and Workshops:
Over the course of a single day or multi-day program, students will deepen their understanding of floor work and train to develop more fluidity and artistry within the practice. Participants will deep dive into specialized across-the-floor passes, conditioning exercises, workshopping impressive skills and phrase work to further integrate floor work with contemporary movement. Beginner and Advanced level options are available for classes/workshops.

Guest Choreography:
AJ will set solo or group choreographic work at your studio for your event or artistic project, during a timeframe catered to your specific needs. Competition routines, audition solos, recital numbers, music videos, live events and performances are all available options. Choreography residencies can last anywhere from a few days, up to 2+ weeks.

Available for travel within the U.S. and internationally.
