Bio

Ashley Jade is a dancer, choreographer, and educator based in NJ/NYC.

AJ earned her BFA in Dance from The Boston Conservatory, and is widely recognized on social media for her contributions to contemporary floorwork technique. AJ shares her expertise of high-level skills through workshops across the US and internationally, including at renowned institutions such as Iceland Dance Company, DeSales University, Lehigh Valley Charter Arts, Collab Dance Convention, and numerous studios and intensives.

AJ is an alum of Springboard Danse Montreal, Escuela Profesional de Danza de Mazatlán, Bates Dance Festival, and Strictly Seattle, and throughout her education has performed in repertory by Jose Limón, Twyla Tharp, Francesca Harper, Robert Moses, Delfos Danza, Peter Chu, Zoe Scofield, and Tommy Neblett. While in residency with Delfos Danza in 2015, AJ trained extensively in Piso Movil floorwork technique, which has heavily influenced her approach to contemporary floorwork today. 

AJ Co-Founded/Directed Undercurrent Dance Company from 2017-2019, teaching professional level floorwork classes in Seattle, WA. AJ had performed in numerous project based works as a freelance artist, and has performed and presented her own choreographic works across Mexico, Canada, and the US. 

In addition to her performance career in the concert dance scene, AJ fosters a profound passion for working with dancers of the next generation, propelling their artistry and virtuosic growth in pre-professional and competitive settings.

AJ’s artistry extends to content creation for brands and events, partnering with companies including BLOCH, Core Hydration, BAND-AID, Kenneth Cole, OURA, Factor, Hertz, BodyArmor, Quest Nutrition, TYinc, LiquidIV, and more.
